That call reached the compassionate hands at Stray Rescue of St. Louis, and from that moment on, Jessie’s story took a turn.
The rescue team moved quickly. No one knew how long Jessie had been struggling to survive on her own, but her condition spoke volumes. She was weak, dangerously thin, and riddled with injuries.
